This keystroke logger is a very simple device to
understand and use. To install the logger, all you need to do is plug it in between your
keyboard cable and your computer. Once you do this, it is ready to record
(see Figure 1 below). There is no software to install on your computer making
installation fast and simple. Easy to follow instructions are included.
When you have
recorded some data, and would like to retrieve it, simply open up any text
editor or word processing program (Microsoft Notepad is recommended). Type
in your secret password. When your password has been correctly entered a menu will be displayed on your
screen giving you several options. These including; View Memory, Erase Memory, Disable
Recording, and so on. As soon as the 'View
Memory' option has been selected every word that has been
typed on the computer will be displayed for you to see. Retrieved data does not
have to be read on the computer the logger was initially installed on. It can be
connected to another computer at a different location to review the data.
Four
versions are now available - 32K Mini, 64K Mini, 128K and 256K. The 32K logger will store
approximately 21 typed pages, the 64K will store approximately
42 typed pages, the 128K will store approximately 84 typed
pages and the 256K will store approximately 160 typed pages. All versions feature changeable password, custom search
feature, and enable/disable function. The "NetPatrol"
feature automatically identifies internet related addresses.
Loggers only work with PS2 type keyboards. They will not work on
USB keyboards.
